Police are offering a $50,000 reward in last year's murder of rapper Michael George.
The 25-year-old was gunned down around 3:30 a.m. July 29, 2007 as he pulled into the driveway of his girlfriend's home on Wilcox Creek Pathway, near Morningside and Old Finch avenues. He was found slumped over in the driver's seat of his grey Chevrolet Malibu and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cash reward is for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the killer or killers.
On Thursday, Aug. 14, a children's playground was built at the Wilcox Creek townhouse complex in George's memory. Today, family and friends gathered to officially open the park.
Sarah George, the victim's sister, said her brother was a kind and loving person.
